In a world of highly publicised Hollywood relationships, Keanu Reeves might take the cake for being the most notoriously private.
Reeves and artist Alexandra Grant have been romantically involved since 2019, but until now, we haven’t known much about the inner workings of their relationship.
In a rare comment, the Matrix actor has opened up about Grant and the key to their enduring love.

“We have been on a couple of trips together on the motorcycle and we have enjoyed it,” Reeves revealed to E! News.
The star is currently promoting his upcoming docuseries Visionaries, which explores the innovative minds behind motorcycles.
While the pair enjoyed their travels, Reeves confessed: “Since then, we have not done it again.

“There’s no declaration of like, ‘I’m never riding with you again because you’re crazy,'” he explained.
The Sonic the Hedgehog star also revealed the secret behind his six-year relationship with Grant: “Sharing, communicating, you know, supporting.”
While Reeves had previously remained tight-lipped about his girlfriend, Grant has spoken about it before.
Grant called their relationship “interdependent and independent in the best ways” in a 2023 People interview.

“What I love about Keanu and our exchange is that we’re pushing each other to build new roads,” the artist shared.
“Seeing the other person’s problem-solving is inspiring, like, ‘Oh, well, OK, this one, that’s a cul-de-sac. How do I try this other thing?'”

“The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun,” she said.
“I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone.”
“He’s such an inspiration to me,” Grant gushed, adding, “He’s so creative, he’s so kind. He works so hard.”
The couple first made their relationship public in November 2019 when they made their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in Los Angeles.
Before becoming a couple, the duo had collaborated on two books, Ode to Happiness in 2011 and Shadows in 2016.
