“A few weeks ago I had to go back into hospital after having some physical symptoms in my chest. It turned out that one of the leads was placed too far into my heart,” he shared with fans and followers.
“The second surgery took about 2 hours. Luckily, it was a success and they kindly let me listen to Oasis the whole time!”
He said it’s “been a pretty rough time” but insisted he’ll be better soon.

“It’s been a setback, but it’s just one of those things. I’ve had a few complications the last couple of months but I’m having loads of tests to make sure everything is all good,” he said.
“It could take a few weeks / months for the inflammation of my heart to subside, but I’m sure I’ll be back on top form in no time!” he finished.
It comes after the singer revealed in a candid interview that he wrote a will on his phone one night during his first hospital stay, because he was scared he might die.
He said he was the youngest patient in the hospital ward when speaking to The Sun about his nightmare ordeal.

“That first night I wrote a will, I thought I was going to die,” he told the publication.
“If I could go from being absolutely on top of the world to being told ‘the bottom part of your heart isn’t working’, I kept thinking in my head, ‘Well, what if the top half stops working overnight?'”
He said that one night before his pacemaker surgery he was so unwell and “panic” set in that he “felt like he was dying”.
It comes after George shared a post reflecting on 2024 and said it is a year he “won’t forget” after having heart surgery and a pacemaker put in.
“2024… Certainly a year I won’t forget! So lucky to have the life that I have,” he wrote in his post.
“I can’t wait for the next chapter, no matter what challenges lie ahead. I wish everyone an amazing night tonight… and that 2025 brings you good health and the best year!” he added.
