Lily Allen has spoken about her time at a treatment centre as she made a return to her BBC podcast, Miss Me?
The British singer, 39, said on her podcast that she had “some time and space away from everything” and has started meditation.
It comes amid persistent speculation about her personal life and marriage to Stranger Things star David Harbour, 49. They are rumoured to have split.

“I just feel very grateful to have been given the time and the space that I needed,” she began on her podcast.
“I went into a sort of treatment center for a few weeks, which was great.
“I did a lot of group therapy and some individual therapy and I just, I needed some time and space away from everything.

“And I did a lot of shadow work… inner child stuff… it was not easy by any stretch and it’s a lifelong journey of healing… but I’ve started mediating… that’s really helping me.”
A month ago, Allen revealed she was taking a break from her podcast, admitting at the time that she was “not in a good place” mentally.
She said she had been “spiralling” and recently had a panic attack while out.

In the podcast episode, the Not Fair singer referred to Harbour as her “husband” still, keeping mum on the speculation over their relationship.
When the topic of the Golden Globes came up, Allen said she didn’t tune in to Hollywood’s night of nights.
“I’m finding it hard to be interested in anything. I’m really not in a good place,” Allen admitted.
“I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiralling and spiralling and spiralling, and it’s got out of control.”
Speaking about stepping away from the podcast for a while, she said: “I’m going away next week, you’re not going to hear me for a few weeks, listeners.”
“There will be speculation, because of the amount of time that I’m going to be taking away, that I’m going to drug rehab, and I’m not. I’ve not relapsed.”
