‘Hilarious!’ MAGA mocks Selena Gomez as she sobs about ‘her people’ being deported

MAGA conservatives pounced on actress and singer Selena Gomez for posting a video on social media in which she laments the mass deportations underway throughout the United States.

In the video posted to X then later removed, Gomez says, “I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something.”

Podcaster
Candace Owens commented, “This is objectively hilarious.”

Fox News contributor and podcast host
Tomi Lahren posted, “Does she realize the people who have been arrested and deported so far are all criminal aliens? Many of them rapists and murderers? Pretty sick to cry that they have to leave… That’s what happens when you’re an ill informed moron celebrity.”

Lahren also posted her own video chastising Gomez, writing “Certified moron @selenagomez crying for criminal illegal aliens is really something else. This is why we don’t take our political advice from Disney child stars.”

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, wrote, “Selena Gomez sobs uncontrollably amid ramped up deportations of illegal aliens: ‘I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something.’ “My people?” Aren’t you American? Where was the sobbing over the 100,000 Americans dead from fentanyl poisoning? Where were these tears over the 340,000 children who went missing after being trafficked over our border? Why wasn’t there a breakdown for Rachel Nungary, Rachel Morin, or Laken Riley? I guess those Americans weren’t ‘your people?'”

Political commentator Benny Johnson wrote, “BREAKING: Selena Gomez shares a video BAWLING over the mass deportations. Where is the video of her crying over the 300,000 missing children?”

Gomez, who has described herself as “a proud third-generation American-Mexican,” reportedly removed the video after receiving the vitriolic posts.

Gomez executive produced the 2019 Netflix documentary series called “Living Undocumented,” about eight immigrant families living illegally in the United States. She also wrote a personal essay for Time magazine titled, “‘I Feel Afraid For My Country.’ Selena Gomez on America’s Immigration Crisis.”
