Neighbours star Scarlet Vas has welcomed her first child with her husband Tayo Ricci, who also happens to be her stepbrother.
The couple welcomed their new addition on Christmas, posting a new family photo from the hospital to Instagram on Boxing Day.
“Our Christmas miracle has finally arrived🤍 Merry Christmas from our family to yours,” Vas wrote, alongside the image which covers the baby’s face.

They also posted a sweet photo of the three of them holding hands, with the newborn wearing a Christmas-themed onesie.
Ricci also posted new photos with the baby today, with the family posing in front of the Christmas tree with their dogs.
Ricci can be seen carefully holding the newborn while Vas holds the two dogs in her arms.

“A belated Merry Christmas AND the happiest of New Years to all of you⭐️Love from the Ricci’s,” he wrote.
Vas – who is known for playing Mishti Sharma on the soap – and her husband Ricci first announced their pregnancy in September this year, tying the knit in a $500,000 wedding in Mykonos one year prior to that.
They first met as teenagers in Melbourne and began dating years later.

The couple tend to keep the details of their familial relations private out of respect for their families, but it is believed that their parents wed before they did.
The couple have clarified that there is no blood relation, with Vas telling the UNCENSORED with Mario Adrion podcast, “We’re not blood, though. So it’s fine, like, that would be weird. That’d be weird. It’s just like happens to be.”
Ricci added, “Yeah, we don’t want incest children.'”
